LISA CRUSE began her needlework career with cross stitch at the age of six, triggering a lifelong passion for fiberarts and color. Knitting, crochet, sewing, English Smocking, lacemaking all followed with forays into other needlearts and explorations with color.
Decorative painting, paint finishes and murals furthered studies in color and design and each element easily combines with the others for more creativity and expression. Texture and faux effects add more interest and a touch of playfulness regularly appears in her designs.

LISA CRUSE has taught adult education and children's workshops since the early 1980's and finds pleasure in awakening creative talent in her students.
In addition, Lisa designs regularly and is currently writing a book, pattern series and lectures. Her designs will be available through this site or at workshops as they occur.

| LISA CRUSE lives in the northwest corner of Connecticut with her daughter and favorite model, Kaysa. Besides fiberarts, Lisa loves to travel, paint, read and laugh.
Lisa combines the alternative healing arts with color and knitting for personal therapy and loves to share the same with others.
